Mindfulness-based touch therapy is the combination of two therapeutic techniques: mindfulness and touch therapy. Mindfulness can help people consciously shape and modulate their emotions, while touch therapy influences emotion in an unconscious manner. Theoretically, the combination of the two may produce a synergistic benefit for improving overall thought patterns and emotions.[1]
