In general, I just take all the listed Pseudovitamin compounds (it is indeed a non-legitimate term, and in a sense I created that category to collect compounds that follow this pseudovitamin motif that I believe in) as well as both Magnesium and Vitamin D, these two round out actual nutrient needs since my diet is subpar in Magnesium and I'm Canadian (respectively).
Beyond that, supplements I take on conditions are:
- Nicotine, D-Aspartic Acid and Aniracetam are my go-to nootropic compounds alongside Bacopa Monnieri; all taken with an omelet (Note: These have worked for me through trial and error; your experience may differ)
- Chia Seeds, for digestion related reasons
- Hydrolyzed Silk Amino Acids make my skin soft. That is really the only reason
- If fat burning is needed, simply Ephedrine and Yohimbine as a combination; these are not taken all the time
- Weekly Alcohol; my poisons of choice are Maple Whiskey or White Rum
And supplements in general that I am interested in but do not actively take:
- Spirulina is just generally amazing as a rehabilitative agent, and I guess due to its associations with NADPH I have to give a possible nod to Ecklonia Cava as well (although I do not yet find the latter amazing)
- Boswellia Serrata, being a proven herb to reduce brain edema, is very novel
- Boerhaavia Diffusa appears to be a potent immunosuppressant, and interests me due to that (with the potential for it being curative or harmful very much dependent on context)
- Sesamin will always have a place in my heart for being the first compound on Examine to have an effect in the picomolar range
- Ganoderma Lucidum being the only compound here that increases TNF-α and having that seen as a good thing; a novel mechanism
- Licorice just has too many varying and interesting compounds with a large degree of uncertainty as to whether any of it matters
- Bromelain, for being a digested enzyme that is active in serum
- Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid, as aside from its large name it being a bile acid is very novel for many nutritional supplements; it does have a fair bit of potency under some conditions as well (cholestasis)
- Vitex Agnus Castus, since an anti-PMS herb that is reliable is also quite unheard of
