The dosing of horse chestnut is based off of its aescin content, which should reach 100-150mg daily. It is best taken in multiple doses, usually two doses separated by twelve hours.

Horse Chestnut is able to dilate the veins and improve circulation as it pertains to veins, and does have human evidence to support its efficacy.



Dosage: 100-200

While the evidence to support pycnogenol is less than that of horse chestnut, the one comparative study suggested that it was more potent and pycnogenol is known to have once daily dosing.

The above doses are the higher range of normal, but still in the effective and safe range.
