Supplements that aid either chronic constipation (ie. supplements that weakly promote the passing of foods, allowing defecation to come easier) or acute constipation (ie. a potent laxative).



Suggested Supplements

Dosage: 10-30mg

10-30mg refers to the active molecules (the sennosides), which is usually found in 1-2 grams of the powdered extract; ideally, you would take the lowest active dose for inducing defecation.

Senna is usually known as the overnight laxative, where you take it prior to sleep where it then induces the urge to defecate in the morning; highly effective.



Dosage: 90

90mg of caffeine tends to be the lowest dose recommended for inducing defecation, and the range of 90-200mg tends to be the overall range for inducing defecation. It is a rapid effect, and it does not appear to be subject to desensitization like many other properties of caffeine.
